| | Stephen opted to join Cardiff on a free transfer after helping previous side Barnsley defeat City’s local rivals Swansea in the League 1 playoff final at the Millennium stadium. He Is a very creative midfielder but unfortunately ended up getting more red cards than goals in his first season at Ninian Park. Stephen was dismissed twice last term but is still rated as one of the best attacking midfielders in the division.
